is medical treatment during pregnancy considered a benefit

Post by harry7 » Fri Jun 26, 2009 8:07 pm

my friend was an international student in UK and is on psw(post sudy work visa). she is pregnant, is she allowed to get medical treatment and medicines free in UK during her pregnancy. she is not allowed recourse to public funds. What does this means. Does this stop her to get free medical treatment in UK.
Is this considered a benefit. will it effect her future visa extension.

No, NHS is all inclusive on most any visa apart from six month ones, ie visitor, prospective student visa, etc..

Bear in mind tho, the PSW visa cannot be extended....
