So, do i need to show that i improved the business, or just run the Franchise is enough?

I will buy a franchise direst from Franchiser, is this will eligible and be counted for extension ?

I register my company with company house, and HMRC. Now if i purchased a franchise to support my services will be acceptable and counted or not. please advise
