citizenship and UK passport

hi

may i ask if a person is approved to be a British citizen, ie~through ceremony.

*does he have to apply for a british passport? or can he still hold/use his origin country one??

*and if he does not apply for a uk passport, will he still be classed as a british citizen??

lastest update~~~ Got ILR approved on Friday~~~~~ :lol: having to get my local MP into the picture. the MP said UKBA have a hotline for MP's. and they need to answer to the MP accordingly.... without the helps from my MP. maybe like many others, i would still have been waiting waiting and waiting......

your application was delayed for about 2months i guess, so if you could get a back-dating letter from the UKBA. your wife will only have to wait 10months now instead of 12 to qualify for full uk citizenship........
