For those that went the premium route... couple of questions. Did you submit online forms or print out and take your application in? Those that did online... How long before your visa was due to expire did you submit? When making your premium appointment... How far ahead or how early could you book...

Sorry for the confusion. No, the wife does not meet the threshold income ie. £18,600 She is getting carers allowance of £62 per week and then earnings of £100 per week, hence i understand that she has to meet the adequate maintenance. On that basis, I want to know what is difference in paperwork req...

Carer is the wife in UK. She is caring for her aunt since June 2017. she is also employed part time and meets the required income level.

Claiming Housing Benefit

Hi everyone.
Scenario: Husband is on spouse visa. Couple have moved into rented property paying their own rent. Is the wife (who is British) allowed to claim housing benefit, and if so, will this affect her husbands visa extension? Has anyone experienced this situation?
