Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

With the withdrawal of application they have also said that the withdrawal itself ...

There is an inherent right and the card acts as a recognised document that reflects the status granted because of the right. A BR Permit on the othe...

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

The last line was to check if you were applying for pre-settled status or settled status. If your application was for pre settled status, you should have got the BRC by now. But any settled status applications which are a bit ambiguous and require manual checks are taking a long time. Oh got it, th...

On the bright side, you have been here for 8 yrs, and now the LTR will be issued for 5 yrs, and so after 2 more years you can throw an ILR party.

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Jokes apart, in the case of divorces, apparently the legal requirement is to have lived in the UK at any point in a married relationship for 1 year, out of a 3 year marriage. I was kidding about the 3 months.

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Hi. -- I had to provide my NI number, and this is important because the automated checks are primarily driven by your NI number. Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

I believe you have made a mistake in your application process and your application is probably stuck because of this. The 'UK Residence card' process flow is meant only for people who hold a EEA FM Biometric Residence Card. The residence card is quite fundamentally different from the residence permi...
