So don’t think so passport office will resume operation for another 6 weeks. Think our applications will get cancelled automatically at this stage if they are pending for 6 months. So frustrating. So many other departments are working in limited capacity but passport office are completely shut down ...
Called Karachi consulate this morning. The guys who answered phone told me he doesn’t deal with this stuff directly but if it is a request for verification then basically I have to wait till the process is finished. Didn’t give any time frame.

I don’t think so there is anything we can do. I don’t even know what stage is our case now. No fee refunded from first application. Second application again waiting for verification. Can you deny us passport after we are a naturalised citizen?

Hey Guy. Just wondering if anyone has applied for stamp 6 on basis of naturalisation? My passport application is being delayed so thinking to apply for stamp 6. Will that allow me to travel and re enter Ireland ? As what I have heard that naturalisation cert does not cover for re entry into Ireland.

Absolutely, I am so disappointed. It looks like no one is there to raise voice for us and they can treat us whatever way they want. I still failed to understand the concept behind this birth cert verification when there is a passport available from Pakistan. so so frustrated
