Re: Family planning

Long debate but i believe people should not have to pay if not with the partner anymore and not allowed to take part in upbringing of their children anymore. Some horrible stories out there especially from USA.

Re: Family planning

I do not have any issue with paying for my own children. Just want more information what happens in these cases.

By the way plenty of people mooching off of state and relying on benefits and taxes paid off by hard working people. So even if no one pays state will take care of it i am sure. :)

Re: Spanish inheritance laws

Apologies if I understood that wrong. You can remove the post, or let me know if it’s misplaced and i will rem...

Hi everyone. I have resigned from my job and my last day of work will be 2 July. My current brp is valid till August. Higher tax band limit increase?

PM had announced last year to increase higher tax band limit to 80,000£. Is that still in the plans or any update on it? Or not possible now considering the corona pandemic effects on economy? Any update from government if they plan to further increase taxes instead of reduce it? Thanks.

Re: Tier 2 visa extension

Thanks for the reply CR001.

Home office has said people can continue with the next employer even if visa isn’t approved but as long as they have applied new visa.
Can we travel to home country too then after applying visa only and before its approval?

Sure. Although i think it is more efficient to post under a thread where a similar/related discussion is already happening. Who knows it might give the OP some new insight or solve their issue too 😀

Re: Tier 2 Visa - Unpaid Leave “URGENT”

@djsuccess Hi. Would there still be problems with ILR if i have a 4 month employment gap between jobs, all the while holding a valid tier 2 visa. Because as you stated this would create a gap in tax/NI payment. How it happened was i got a job and obtained a valid visa but it was withdrawn, then I go...

Business/secondary income on tier 2

Hi. I understand that we cannot do a second employment while being on tier 2 visa.

But are we allowed to do business or have additional sources of income. For example: renting a room in your property or listing it on airbnb; or doing any business; or investing in stocks.

Thanks
