Old passport

My Moroccan fiancés passport expired earlier this year and was issued In March 2018.

She is unsure as to where where her old passport is.

Is there any way to retrieve a certified copy or similar? I assume it will be needed when applying for the fiancé visa.

Thanks

Re: Fiancé visa ( family of a settled person? )

Ok, so I’ve begun gathering information and have begun organising it all in a folder clearly labelled under the various sections. I have approximately 80 photos of us together during our 8 trips ( soon to become 8 ) and have date stamped most of them. Is this enough? I have also included my financia...

I understand it is electronic only but would like to go through it first without setting up an account. Lastly, when filling out the online application , can it be done over a period of time? I would li...

Thank you Casa.

She gets her yearly bonus in April and will leave her job after that so we will spend the next few months prepping everything In readiness for the application. Really excited but us nervous as well!

Am i right in thinking she needs a TB certificate as well?

Re: Fiancé visa ( family of a settled person? )

Thanks everyone for the helpful advice. To clarify, I understood it was a spouse visa whereby you needed to prove you had been cohabiting for at least two years? I thought there were no restrictions on the fiancé visa regarding living together.... Surely if we marry first then we wouldn’t qualify fo...

Re: Help with a Moroccan coming to the UK.

Providing your girlfriend adheres to the terms of her 6 month visa, this should be in favour if applying for a longer term visitor visa. You're aware that even a 2 or 5 year visitor visa still restricts her to the same limits as a 6 month visa :?: Yes I am . Thanks. I guess a longer visa gives a bo...

Re: Help with a Moroccan coming to the UK.

Thanks Casa, Thats really helpful. Quick question, the more times she visits the UK, albeit for short periods at a time during her initial 6 month visa, does it make it easier or more difficult if she ever wants to extend it to a 2 year Visa? The ultimate goal is for her to move to the UK permanentl...
