Re: Arrived in Dublin, now what?

Some threads discuss the application for a work permit while the EU1 application is pending. Unfortunately this particular work permit has been withdrawn by the Dep. I hadn't read that before and found it very interesting. It certainly applies to me and it is good to know what I had always believed, that there was no information about the requirement to live in another EU country made available to us before we came here.

So, we got our ticket, waited 3 hours and...

I arrived into Ireland on a 3 months visitor stamp in my passport. I did not require a visa.
That stamp is about to expire at the end of the month and I need to head to London in September for a week. What chance I'll get another stamp or my current one extended?

Thanks everyone for the responses, greatly appreciated. I'm wondering what happens when down the track my application is denied. Will I be asked to leave the country immediately? Will there be a period I can stay to appeal? I just read over the EU1 form I downloaded off the DOJ website and there is ...

We researched various avenues and were told by the Irish consulate/embassy in Canberra, Australia (after explainin...
