Re: Cancel wife's british citizenship after divorce

We were separated when she was filing for her citizenship. I wasn't aware that she was applying else would have stopped it then. Does this help as I didnt provide my consent for her to apply with me as dependent.

Re: Cancel wife's british citizenship after divorce

Yes she got 5 year dependent TIer 2 visa via me. She got ILR through me also. Even if I report it how would I know if they are going to take action or not and how long do they need to take action? Is it better to report when she is out of UK ?

Cancel wife's british citizenship after divorce

I got married in 2010 and we got divorced in June 2018.
I have reasons to believe she married me only to get citizenship. Now she is marrying one guy with who cheated with and now she is getting him to UK as her dependent.
Can I report to UKBA and curtail/cancel her british citizenship ?

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

I haven't received any receipt from UKBA or acknowledgement till now 23rd November. Should I be worried , is there somewhere I should / can follow up / trace? Do you get receipt and acknowledgement by email ? I also contacted Royal Mail and from the tracking it says ON DELIVERY. When I called Royal...

Re: No pages on passport - ILR

I am not thinking of not re-issuing my passport and going ahead with current situation. Thanks CR001 for your input. Worst case if at all they need pages, would they reject ? I wouldn't consider this would be a valid scenario to reject as there are no rules on their site to provide this as a criteria.

No pages on passport - ILR

My passport is valid till 20-Jan-2016 and I am planning to apply for ILR by mid October. Is there any number of months my passport should be valid for ILR ? Applying for premium service and hopefully should get ILR in a week. Also, I don't have any blank pages on my passport , would this be required...

Continuous residency - ILR

I have been on a combination of Tier 2 and Tier 1. During my time on Tier 2, I am assuming I will need a letter from my employer to prove that I was on annual leave. For Tier 1, I work as a contractor and I have my own company. Can I show a letter from my company with my signature to prove I was on ...

Tier 2 and Tier 1 combination for ILR

Hello, I have had Tier 2 (General) from Aug 2010 to Feb-2011. In Feb I received my Tier 1 visa. After 3 years I extended my Tier 1 visa till Feb 2017. From Aug 2015, I am eligible for ILR. My query is related to Section 12L in form Set(O). "For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 1(Ge...

VFS withdrew schengen application without my authorisation

I have had a very unfortunate incident with VFS team and it has been a very disappointing experience for me. Me and my friends had applied at VFS belgium embassy on 21st March and we didn't get any response for around 3 weeks. We already missed one trip and had to incur a loss on our flights and hot...

Thanks Manka. But I am confused as it sounds a bit contradicting, if you are saying that passport details are encoded in brp then they won't provide me a brp till feb 2016 , either they will give till jan 2016 or won't accept ? Or am I understanding it wrong. Sorry just trying to understand and remo...

Passport expiration affecting Tier 1 Visa (General) extensio

Hello, I am applying for my tier 1 extension and I have an appointment on 12th Feb 2013. This is an extension which would be for 3 more years as initial application gave me a grant for 2 years. This means if I get an extension that would be till 12th Feb 2016 (or 11th Feb 2016). Although my passport...
