If there is someone who has applied for their child’s registration as British citizenship under section 1(3) without parents' passport with ILR stamp, please share your experience, so that I can relax a bit :-(.

Thanks.

If your ILR application was under consideration during this period you were not illegal during that time slot.

1. In MN1 form can my son's child minder since last 7/8 months become one of the referees ?

- Just thought I'll let you all know; a child minder is fine provided that she has worked with the child in a professional capacity i.e. ofsted registed etc.

Referees for 3 year old

Me and my 3 year old son hold ILR and are eligible for BC three questions. 1. In MN1 form can my son's child minder since last 7/8 months become one of the referees ? 2. Would I be better of in any way if I get the BC first and then make an application for him in terms of fees ? 3. Is cost of applyi...

If your son's passport has the ILR stamp then No; you do not need to send the passport. Where have you read that you need to send your passports as well ?

1. Myself, my wife and a 2 year son got ILR last year 3rd Feb 2010 from HSMP (Tier 1) Visa.

2. ILR is stamped on all three passports.

Please let me know if you need further info. Thanks

Just to confirm, in my case

1. My application with form AN (Fees - £780)

2. My son's application with form MN1 (3 Years old) (£500)

and once I get the citizenship my wife can apply as she hasn't been in the UK for 5 years. (£780)

Right ?

Is there any more economical way to get this done ?
