Hi - to update you, we received our fiance visa yesterday, which was just within six weeks since biometrics (priority). Following up with additional information appears to have been a good move. I'm hoping that if I explain the error and provide the original letter I sourced from my employer, which is a dated, signed original within the 28 day period and before the online application date, they will still consider it. On that basis, I believe it's better to at least try to correct the mistake by sending the previously written letter than wait to just be rejected on the grounds of an inadmissible document.
