Re: ILR Application - Dependent - Queries

Hi Cullinan, No where on the SET(o) application form there was a mention of proof of cohabitation. Where can I find more details on it. For the proofs, as understood from various questions in the forum we must have both of our names on the bills or documents? We have 3: We just have one joint bank a...

Thanks CULLINAN. That's brilliant.

Regarding point 4. does my wife need to show any proof of those absences; if yes what sort of proof is accepted?

ILR Application - Dependent - Queries

Dear members & experts, Apologies in advance if I am, may be, asking an oft-asked question. However, I would appreciate your kind help at this point. I have ILR since 2018 through Tier 2 (General) route. My wife who arrived in UK in 2014 on PBS dependent route, is now eligible for applying ILR in UK...

Sorry, have to reopen this thread. Can create a new if this breaks the rule.

Will the Home Office Refund the Immigration Health Surcharge for the deceased and/or his family members?

Additionally, there are no provisions for PBS dependents to stay on in the UK if their spouse, the main PBS visa holder, passes away. The provision that does exist is only for spouse of British citizen.
Can the company hire deceased's wife or even son to help them out and get over this?

Re: Urgent Help - Dependent of Deceased!

Thanks CR001. 2. It might be risky as they could be refused re entry to the UK due to the change in circumstances. Is there any precedence in this regard? What document proof they may need to allowed re-entry? 3. Unlikely. What do they believe they might qualify for? The added complication is that t...

Urgent Help - Dependent of Deceased!

Dear experts. I am asking this question on behalf of the family of my colleague who unfortunately died yesterday. My company and I want to help his family as best as we can, so any advise would be appreciated. My colleague was Tier 2 ICT visa holder (£120 + salary). This was his 6th year in UK. His ...

Re: MN1 - Documents Proof

You should have a soft copy of her passport somewhere. Otherwise, I don’t think it is mandatory to submit anyways.it is not even on the checklist. Do you may live without it. But my thoughts for my case was submit more just to be on the safe side. Yes, we have soft copies, but will those copies be ...

Re: MN1 - Documents Proof

Thanks for your help SidiBou. Makes it a lot clear.

Do I need to submit/upload my wife's passport and BRP (both with Home Office a the moment)?

I have topics regarding that but could not see any reference to that in the proof of document list in my case.

Re: Change from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General

Hi CR001, thanks again. No, the salary is under £100k. Sorry, could not get the specific rule (ICT to General not allowed under same sponsor) from the link you shared. But the rule does sound bit illogical. I genuinely thought it should be a straight away application. If a sponsor wishes to change t...

Change from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General

Dear members, This is on behalf of one of my colleague. I understand its a very generic question which might have been asked several times before. But due to ever changing visa rules, requirements, and impact of candidate's specific situations (like age etc.) things may differ from case to case. So,...

Re: 4 Months Between PBS Expiry and ILR Eligibility

Thanks CR001.
She would then apply for PBS extension for 2 years, before 09/02/2019.
If the decision is not made by 03/05/2019 (30/05/2018 - 28 days) we will request to change the application to ILR.

I will get into more details at the time of application now.

Thanks again ... and Best Regards.

Re: 4 Months Between PBS Expiry and ILR Eligibility

Unfortunately she cannot apply for ILR any sooner than 28 days before 30th May. She will need to apply for an extension first. Why does she have a shortfall?? What are all the visa start and end dates and the dates extensions were applied for and granted? Hi CR001, We got married when I was already...

Re: 4 Months Between PBS Expiry and ILR Eligibility

Possibly. However if you apply PBS dependent extension by post and try to vary in person at premium centre, you might not get a decision on the day as the documents will be at the office where the dependent visas are processed. Voila! That means only postal applications can be made. Are you aware i...

Re: 4 Months Between PBS Expiry and ILR Eligibility

PBS Dependent visa if applied by post takes up to 8 weeks. IF it takes longer, she can vary to ILR when she meets the ILR requirements. Thanks for your advice CR001. Could you please advise the process of varying the application (or lead me to the relevant GOV web link)? Didn't know we can do that....

4 Months Between PBS Expiry and ILR Eligibility

Dear members, Need your advise. My wife's PBS dependent visa is going to expire on 9th Feb 2019 and she will be eligible to apply for ILR on 8th May 2019 (28 days prior to her first leave to enter). So for completing 4 more months, she will have to apply for PBS extension for the second time. We are...

Sorry, it's too late to reply to your question as you might have had your visa appointment by now. I just followed what you did anywa...
