can I change job while waiting for set (LR) approval?

I am currently on tier 2 and I submitted my application for set (LR) in October 2020. I just been offered a new job with a new company. Can I start to work for them before my set(LR) decision been made or I have to wait until it is granted? Thank you.

They are NOT required. The checklist is GENERIC and not the rules.
Thanks a lot. I will try to find a few bills in case. But it is great to know they are not required.

Re: Documents for 10 year ILR

Are there any other documents I need to provide? No. My friend told me he submitted a lot more documents like bank statement, company letters, etc. Are those required? No. Not all ilr routes have the same requirements. Just had a checklist from my application. They ask for proof of relationship wit...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi All, I’ve a question regarding the brp delivery. Is the applicant required to sign for the delivery when the brp arrives or can someone at the address do it for them? Thanks. UKVI keeps changing delivery companies. But they may find these companies they find are worse than those older ones. The ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

It will be great to know if anybody who had given the biometrics using the app had received any decisions yet? It is a few weeks since the app came out. If UKVI had previewed the applications as the stated, the decision should come out quickly. Hi @FCjl22, did you apply on April 20 by any chance? J...

Re: employment overlap during Tier 2 sponsor switch

Thank you for the reply. I mean anything not allowed in my Tier 2 visa terms. Will I be counted as taken 2 jobs at the same time? For the last month, I will be paid by both employers. Will that be breaking the immigration law?

Your wife's application does not change as long as her application remains pending. No one becomes illegal due to a side effect. That is ...

Re: complicated ILR due to Corona virus

It is contained in the immigration rules and section 3C clearly explains that your existing visa conditions continue while an application is pending, so in your case, if you leave your tier 2 sponsor, you cannot do any other work for anyone, not even the 20 hours a week supplementary employment. ht...

Re: complicated ILR due to Corona virus

You cannot work for any other employer until you are granted ILR. Until HO make a decision on your ILR application, all your existing tier 2 visa conditions remain in force, ie. you can only work for your tier 2 sponsor. Until you get ILR, you will have NO proof of the right to work for another emp...

Your sponsor also has access to the Sponsor Helpline. It is for them to ascertain whether they can issue as CoS for an application in the UK, and presumably they are keen to not have any refusals. This is yet another user posting mutliple times in other topics and has their own ilr topic too, tryin...

Re: complicated ILR due to Corona virus

If you vary to SET(LR) your wife cannot stay under PBS route anymore and must switch to the family route using FLR(M) which has a salary requirement. She also has to start her 5 year ILR clock from scratch. Thanks for the suggestions. But the problem is that when I vary to ILR, I will still be wait...
