Re: How long does it take to get the first time passport application?

My passport has been printed yesterday and dispatched. It is due for delivery today. It's being delivered on 21-Mar as supposed to 13-Mar. Not bad though. Received my passport yesterday. It took a total of 22 months from naturalization application to receiving passport, not far off from the 23 mont...

Re: How long does it take to get the first time passport application?

I had applied on 12-Feb with an estimated issue date of 13-March. Visited passport office on 15-March, and was told that it was in progress and the witness (Gardai) was not contacted yet. I am a Naturalized citizen and waiting for my Irish passport. I have 2 children aged <12 and their naturalization application is in process. While applying for a schengen visa, i read that children with an IRP card or Stamp 4 in their passport are exempted from a visa when they accompany an Irish ci...

Re: Naturalization for minor not currently living in Ireland

I suppose OP's question is still unanswered in relation to applying minor's naturalization while living abroad. I see the rule of continuous stay before applying for naturalization as relevant for minors however after the application is unknown. Does that mean a minor can live outside Ireland while ...

Re: Come in Ireland with UK visa

Only Indian and Chinese passport holders will be able to travel to Ireland on a UK visa provided they enter UK or transit through it. I suppose BIVS visa is not being issued anymore due to covid 19.

Re: Changing role on Critical skills permit

I have completed 21 months and have raised a request for support letter last week. So my only hope is that DBEI will process support letter in the next few days/weeks and I can get Stamp4. Else I will be stuck in this wp cycle  .

Alternately I might have to...

Re: Changing role on Critical skills permit

Thanks littlerr for your help. I forwarded this information to my company HR but they are looking for some sort of confirmation over an email for their records (like from DBEI/INIS) saying that I am good to take up role. Couple of weeks ago I had emailed my query to employment permit team, and it ap...

Re: Changing role on Critical skills permit

Thank you very much littlerr for quick help. It looks like my role is changing from 2135 to 2139, so I am good from this pov but I was told if I take up the role then new payslip will have subsidiary name printed on payslips instead of parent company. Would this be ok? Also could you please clarify ...
