How do I attached a image here? found a fb thread where someone had a baby while on ancestral.

Gees why on earth does the uk not look after their own? My mother was back n forth to the uk. 4 of my other siblings have citizenship. This is sad news for me. Arg!!!

Hi all, I'm here on ancestral. I know my visa states no benefits and i won't risk our future citizenship by claiming. Anyway is child benefit and discount on hours a 'universal' aka public fund we are allowed to access for the baby? I got a quote for child care in my area, 1000£!!! I'm hoping we can...

At the bottom of the gov.uk page it says we only need to add the baby as a dependent if we wish to travel, we won't travel, my question is how do I add the baby to our NHS etc? https://www.gov.uk/ancestry-visa/family-members Also I know my visa states no benefits, I see the main benefits for kids he...

Thanks for the replies... So basically after 1983 only British born mothers could pass on citizenship? Not British born abroad? This is where I loose out. My tree Grandfather born England 1923, Mother born South Africa 1946 My mother married twice, so I was a very late birth as you can see 😂🤣 Tia

My wife has a great grandfather born in Sweden,
On this descent line her grandmother and mother are still luckily alive.

Who would be entitled to citizenship here?

Hi yeah great great grandfather.

Would I need to be on the occupational shortlist to acquire a work visa? or if my employer has a branch there is a transfer acceptable by the Irish government? yeah I will get uk citizenship in the next 6yrs, only been in the uk 1yr.
