Re: Applying for British Passport online

Thanks Tobi My husband has received a letter today with the form to be filled in again. But it has return label with a reference, which should avoid much delay as they will link it to the online application already submitted. I fail, to understand why can't they fix their incompetent systems they cl...

Re: Status Update- After Appeal Allowed

Hi aodendal, I had been calling at their General Enquiries Number 08706067766, extension 2. But if it is an emergency you can even fax to the case working team - 011420725361, mentioning your reason and asking them to expedite your application. But obviously, it's up to them to consider or not. But ...

Re: Status Update- After Appeal Allowed

Hi Shah 4404, I think they have 5 working days to appeal against FTT decision if they want to. In your case that timeline has crossed. So I don't think there is anything to worry. Now you should just wait for your docs n brp. For which processing time is 5-12 weeks. Could be longer or vice versa. Dep...

Sorry to hear about that Lilidofonteh, but so many of us our under similar situation n kind of helpless. HO takes their time. And, in your case if it is remitted back to HO, then I think it goes back to the same case worker. And, rest depends on his/her pile. If it is an emergency you can always put...

Re: Status Update- After Appeal Allowed

Hey Pak, I am not so sure, but I think it means it has been allowed for reconsideration. So depending upon your reasons for refusal, case worker might request further docs for verification if they want to make any further checks or they can even straight away issue you your visa. But nonetheless it'...

Re: Status Update- After Appeal Allowed

Hi Smartpen, As far as my knowledge is concerned there is no rule which says that Funds should be held for a specific period. It's just for maintenance a period of 90 days. But obviously, it sounds more genuine if funds are held in an account rather than reflecting in your account 1 or 2 days before...
