Re: URGENT HELP- Child Dependent Visa PBS

It's also not advisable for the husband to apply if he has no intention to join the family if this becomes apparent when the family only ever seek entry without him as they could refuse entry if they realise the father is not and will not be joining you That was not my advice. My advice was for the...

Re: URGENT HELP- Child Dependent Visa PBS

My reasons are that my husband is a doctor and his duty hours are not fixed, it is a rolling shift - morning/evening/night. With his given work responsibilities, he spends additional extended hours on critical cases and sometimes his schedules are very unpredictable. The possibility of leaving the ...

Re: Switching from Ukrainian Family Scheme to another visa type

May 2025 is still 18 months away It's probably likely that the the rules would be amended so that people on the Ukraine scheme are allowed to extend under that scheme, otherwise there will be thousands of people who suddenly need to find another category to switch into or return home, but no announc...

Re: Skilled Worker Dependent Visa - Paid only £247 and no IHS Fee

From your original post, your wife is currently has immigration permission under the Graduate Route and not as your dependent? If so you should answer no to that question. I can see how it is confusing because you were here as her dependent partner, but as you are now the main migrant and she is the...

Re: Skilled Worker Dependent Visa - Paid only £247 and no IHS Fee

Rather than withdrawing the application (which would mean loss of the application fee if you used the app as you have completed the biometric requirements by using the app so therefore you aren't entitled to a refund) It would be better to vary the application - by submitting the correct application...

Re: Skilled Worker Dependent Visa - Paid only £247 and no IHS Fee

£247 is the cost to apply under the Health and Care route, along with an exemption from the IHS so it does sound like somehow you've made the wrong application

If you log into the application, what does it say regarding application type?

Add your spouse to utility bills from now on and you can st least get one in joint names between now and when you apply
Do you have a council tax letter as both names should be on there
If you are a commonwealth citizens (your flag indicates that you are) then are you both on the electoral roll?

To add to the above advice (with which I agree) another option would be for you to add your partner as an account holder (if this is permitted by the bank if she is only here as a visitor) as that way she wouldn't need to wait a further 28 days

If he resided in the UK as a family member of a migrant worker, then he has an independent right to Student loan, even if he is not still dependent on you, as he installed himself in the UK at a time when his father was a migrant worker.
