Brp delivery

Hello, I was wondering if the brp delivery times are delayed at the moment? I’ve been waiting for a decision on my application for 9 months, so am very anxious to receive brp ASAP. Do they actually come within 10 days in most cases? Also is there a notification email that gets sent when the brp has ...

Questions about the online application form

Hello, I'm about to submit my application and just wanted to confirm some questions I had about the form. I'm applying from within the UK as a married partner and my current expiring visa is Tier 4. I was hoping to get some advise on the form and the application in general. 1. Time lived in the UK D...

Spouse visa cash savings question (Brokerage)

Hello, I am aware that brokerage accounts don’t qualify under Category D: cash savings. I am finding it unclear in the guidance however, whether cash savings liquidated from a brokerage account can qualify as cash savings if they’ve only been held as cash in a bank account for part of a 6 month peri...

Re: Cash savings from Investment

More simplified, is it the total sum of funds held as an investment over the 12 month period that matters, or specific stocks/shares which are being sold for cash(or funds held in a specific isa account as a part of a larger investment)?

Re: Cash savings from Investment

. However I am not sure whether that means that the funds have to be held as a specific and easily traceable investment (like stocks in one company purchased over 6 months ago) or does that just mean that it can’t be from new funds injected into the portfolio less that the required time period ago,...

If you are earning income from investment, shares etc then can consider them to come under none-employment income. For this purpose you should refer to the section 6 of Appendix FM 1.7 guidance. Thank you for your response. I am aware of the non-employment income side of this topic. It's probably m...

Using ISA for financial requirement?

Hello, We are about to apply for a spouse visa from the uk and we are relying on my husbands savings held in investments. A few months ago the plan was to liquidate part of the investment into cash, but now with the significant crash of the stock market that seems unfeasible as we will be losing cat...

Waiting time after giving notice

Hello, I am a Russian citizen in the uk on a tier 4 visa (still valid for more than a year). My partner is a British citizen. We have given notice today at the registry office. I’m wondering in what cases is the waiting period usually extended to 70 days? We would ideally like to get married in earl...

Tier 4 after Visitor visa Refusal

I have previously studied in London for 5 years, completed all my courses, then returned to my home country. A few months later I went to see my friends in London, and as I didn't have a job at that moment, and my trip was sponsored by my parents, I stayed in the UK for longer than the dates stated ...
