I called the Eu settlement scheme, they have told me nothing need updating as their pre settled status will remain valid, can apply once 5 year period is completed.

Apply for pre settlement, proof of relationship, applicants passport, sponsor identity doc , proof of U.K. residence ( passport stamp is sufficient) , that should be enough .

Yes you can apply, your wife will be the sponsor, dependency is assumed so no additional paperwork require to prove dependency ! Hope that helps

Thanks for your advice, I thought you can not apply for extended family members under Eu settlement scheme, you will need a U.K. residence card to apply under this scheme, however my question is if we are even able to apply under Eu law family permit in this scenario?
