Settlement ILR Card only one year valid until Dec 2024

Hi All,
One of my clients extended her  Settlement ILR card a few months ago and today she received her ILR card which is valid only until Dec 2024. Previously her settlement card was valid for 10 years. May I know why only one year.?

As Char pointed out, ILR is not a card but a status that is permanent and does NOT expire or does not need to be renewed. The BRP expiry card has no bearing on the ILR status. Hi Obie,to say you frankly I did myself the one TOEIC and another one was a proxy but which was never used in the Home Office Application.Now Home Office said my both TOEIC are proxy.Can I again reapply before soon my naturalisation!

The refusal due to deception was correct. You have no grounds for a reconsideration, considering you accept the fact that your second test was taken by a proxy. You are fortunate that your ILR hasn't been revoked. In your situation I would keep your head down and re-apply in 2024. The fact that the ...
