Hi, 1. as far as i know, you can write to them only after 14 weeks. You have to present some kind of reason (with evidence) for them to concider it quicker as there is a backlog they are trying to clear up. 2. to return passports, call 0870 number on the confirmation letter they sent you 3. no way o...

VAF4A online

Hello guys, maybe a stupid question, but please advise if you can. I'm going back home to apply for a spouse visa but would like to fill in and print out the online form while in the UK. I remember there is a question there that sounds like: Which country are you in now? I have to click on my countr...

Hey guys. so as you remember I was going to withdraw my application and apply for fiance visa back home. Called this solicitor (new solicitor, better informed than my usual one) to ask for a fax number to do so and was told that if one has a good reason for the application to be speeded up, they can...

Thank you everyone for info and kind wishes... I think I know how COA service works now: a bunch of not very bright students on minimum wage (since COA is free now) decide if people can get married, staring at their photos and bills for at least 3 month, taking long tea breaks and hoping the backlog...

had ENOUGH of waiting for Certificate of Approval (CoA)

Hi everybody. It's been more than 3 month now since I have been waiting for HO to be kind enough to LET me get married. I have no idea why instead of dragging their feet (WHAT HAVE THEY BEEN DOING ALL THIS TIME???) they wouldn't just refuse the application (so i can go home and try my only other opt...

This is a joke. I know a guy who's been here illegally for 12 years and got his VISA, not permission to marry in 7 weeks after applying... While i am happy for him and all... Does it make sense to HO? I'm only asking them to let me get married!!! My solicitor says wait for 14 weeks...Looking at your...

Have you guys got your COAs yet? the current timing seems to be ridiculous, been waiting for 12 weeks myself. Wish they made up their minds already! At least say NO so other roots can be explored!

I read somewhere else that there is a glitch in the system regarding that. The advise was given that you should just fill in any date in future even if it's a settlement visa and then later write in comments that the system wouldnt let you pass that page without filling in the date. Good luck.

I've got similar situation. When i applied for my very first student visa, they said there were no enough evidence of my financial situation, and then issued me one in 2 or 3 weeks when i had more docs. Now.... It was nearly 7 years ago and i dont remember if it was REFUSAL or they asked for more do...

Thank you for info, it really helps. I'm gonna do exactly that.
Do you think a copy of decree absolute will be ok for that as the original will be with COA application? Also, do you know the address I should send my divorce notification to by chance? Thank you again!

Hello again, everybody. Just an update and more confusion on my case. Just spoken to my solicitor about if I should apply for COA (and possibly similar to Swan and TM_0108 cases get a letter revoking my current visa) or fiance visa from home. He said (and it's very confusing) that COA would be a big...

Hi there. During my first year in London, DVLA lost my passport with 6 month student visa in it and then when i was passing through the borders, I was told that someone reapplied for visa renewal using my doc. I also had a police report to prove it and you I'm sure you can show them it wasn't you in...
