Re: FLR (M) application. Document scanning/uploading

Yes there will be a link to follow which will take you to the UKVACS website where you create a login, can upload documents and book an appointment as well as purchase additional services such as document scanning. Once we submitted the application it said we had two months to attend an appointment ...

Re: FLR (M) application. Document scanning/uploading

Hi we used a mixture, ones that were missing I downloaded and printed in colour (as we went for scanning). You can upload the documents later, I think you have until a couple of days before the biometric appointment.

Re: Urgent Access UK and Supporting Documents

No, no indication and the woman from the British Embassy was quite evasive. I can understand why, they themselves have no bearing on the application decision so wouldn’t want to start a conversation around it! It could be a matter of days away, I am sure you will hear soon! Did your partner receive...

Re: Urgent Access UK and Supporting Documents

Hi, that’s good to hear. No I haven’t submitted an enquiry yet. Tomorrow will be 5 weeks since bios. What date was the decision made on your application? I'm not sure but between 24/7 and 31/7. Interestingly, the Embassy in Beijing contacted my partner today to confirm his travel dates. On the appl...

Thanks, sorry to be particular but did it say 'priority settlement' exactly? I've seen some confusion about the options there...
Sorry I can’t remember if it mentioned settlement I don’t think it did. Although I think it did say priority and and standard with the two different prices

Re: Urgent Access UK and Supporting Documents

Did you always get the same response when you emailed for an update? When did you last contact them. Yes, please do keep us updated 😊 So, I sent an enquiry through at 15:00 and had a response by 17:00... we have a decision, 27 working days after submission. Just have to wait for the passport to be ...

Re: How to choose priority settlement?

Sorry if elsewhere but I've searched and found nothing. How do I choose priority settlement - must I finish and pay for the visa application on the gov.uk website and then register on VFS and pay there? Or, pay for priority on VFS and then apply on gov website? Because I was told that once lodged, ...

Re: Urgent Access UK and Supporting Documents

I haven’t had a call yet either. Judging by someone else’s timeline they were asked for additional docs about 4 weeks and 2 days after bios so I think that’s when they start looking at it. Did you ask for any status updates? I’m trying to refrain so as to not aggravate them when making the decision...

Re: Urgent Access UK and Supporting Documents

My partner submitted his application last night and I attended the VFS Centre in Shoreditch, London today to submit the supporting documents. Walk in and advise you are there for the scanning service. You will be given a ticket and expected to wait (approx. 2hrs). I would advise going first thing. ...

Thanks! Kimn - I'm sure it won't be a problem for your application as you answered according to how the question was asked. BTW, did you provide a housing report to confirm you had adequate accommodation? Sponsor lives with parents and was going to provide a no objection letter from father (propert...

Re: Spouse visa additional documentation email

Did you scan the docs yourself or through VFS?

What was missing?

I think they might go through it then ask for what’s missing?

I’ve done Priority too and going by your timeline they could still ask me for docs.

This has now been changed to: Did the test assess your speaking and listening skills at a level equivalent to CEFR A1 or higher? Makes more sen...

Hi I've been completeing a UK spouse visa application for someone outside of the UK (Bangladesh) for the past couple of weeks and when I logged in today, there was a message saying the application form has been updated by UKVI. Hi I just realised that I put the last digits of my gross income the other way around (£xx995 instead of £xx559) on the main application. However, I put this the correct way on Appendix 2. We are about to do the biometric this week and were wondering if it is worth canceling the application and put...

Re: Spouse visa priority service 17 june 2019 any 1 similar to me

I wouldn’t worry about it. I’ve read timelines where they haven’t received the confirmation email and only heard when the visa was granted. How did you apply? Have you contacted UKVI? My solicitor applied for me. Every time I contact UKVI, they tell me the same thing: application in being considere...
