The question is quite clear so not sure why you are confused. It clearly asks the date you ENTERED the UK and not 'date visa granted'. Simply answer the question with the date you entered the UK. No, I have no plans to travel in near future and i'm applying for ILR soon, so i'll just apply to register as british citizen once i get my ILR.

Does it mean no need to report as change of circumstance in the interim?

Not sure what LLP or OCS is.. I'll check.
This was the first communication of any sort he received in this matter. No direct letter from DVLA.
No, his vehicle didn't have SORN and he wasn't caught driving it on the road.

I had a PBS dependent Visa until 31st may 2016. Now, I've got a fresh Tier 2 Visa. This in not a case of visa extension.
