Re: Need to urgently enter UK - medical grounds?

Hi everyone, I have been doing as much research as possible regarding our options as I see them 1. Spouse settlement visa and 2. Flr (FP). Although the spouse visa seems to be quicker we are not likely to meet the financial requirements with my current health situation. With regards to the FLR (FP) ...

Re: Need to urgently enter UK - medical grounds?

Hi Amelia & Casa, thank-you both for your replies. So in essence - if I am comparing the FLP FP visa and the spouse settlement visa, we would be better off applying for the spouse visa with the priority route if we can meet the requirements? Is the spouse visa hard to get or if we meet the financial...

Re: Need to urgently enter UK - medical grounds?

Hello Casa, Thanks for the reply, when you say no guarantee of success, does that mean they are more than likely to refuse? I understand that he would he unable to work ect whilst the application is being processed but we don't see that as a problem at this point as we are fortunate to have a home w...

Re: Need to urgently enter UK - medical grounds?

Thanks for the replies but I'm afraid I have a coupe more questions. Please correct me if I have understood incorrectly but is he able to travel to the UK on a visitors visa and then when in the UK apply for the FLR(FP)? Does the FLR(FP) allow him to stay in the UK for a longer period and does it al...

Re: Indefinite Leave to Remain - After 2 Years

In terms of businesses and property, no those were sold prior to our departure in 2011. The ties we have are family only.

Re: Indefinite Leave to Remain - After 2 Years

Casa, thanks again for your reply, just trying to cover all the bases. But it looks as though it will be simpler for myself and the children to return first and then sponsor him once I am earning and settled, something we were hoping to avoid. Would you suggest we visit the embassy for assistance or...

Re: Indefinite Leave to Remain - After 2 Years

Hi Casa, Thanks very much for your speedy and detailed response which is very helpful, thank-you. It seems we would be able to apply under either point 2 or 3 of your conditions in your answer. We do have a property here to sell, which we were hoping to keep but that would satisfy that criteria. Thi...
