Re: Settled Status for NON-EEA FAMILY MEMBER WITH DUAL NATIONAL SPONSOR (2012-TRANSITIONAL ARRANGEMENT)

I just want to say thanks so much Richard W, for all your replies and advice. I am looking into everything you've said so far. I have been assuming the children were born outside the UK. If they are the OP's and were born in the UK in or after 2011, and the OP has retained PR from 2008, then of cour...

Settled Status for NON-EEA FAMILY MEMBER WITH DUAL NATIONAL SPONSOR (2012-TRANSITIONAL ARRANGEMENT)

My husband has applied for the settled status, as he has a 5 years residence permit stamped in his passport. My step-dad is his sponsor (a dual national from birth - German and British). We have previously relied on the 2012 transitional arrangements where family members who had successfully obtaine...

Re: EU indefinite leave to remain after 5 years

I believe you can be included and apply for the PR as well, being that you and your wife came to UK together in 2012. As long as you are able to provide evidence from 2012 to 2017 that you have been together since then, you shouldn't have a problem qualifying for PR. You are considered a direct fami...

Home Office Refusal Unlawful - NON EEA PR - dual national

I applied for PR in November 2017. I am one of the lucky few whose sponsor is a dual national but I successfully applied for RC in 2011, so I am able to still apply using the EEA route. The HO refused my application because they claim that they are not satisfied that my Sponsor (Step-dad) was a Germ...

Re: NON EEA EFM DEPENDANT ADVICE

I am not a 'Guru' but I believe your friend should be able to apply for PR based on the 5 years (2004 - 2009) as you stated, he was receiving money. If he can evidence this with his brother's bank statements or something like that; also if he was living with his brother within that period, he would ...

NON-EEA FM DENIED PR AS NO LONGER BEING DEPENDENT

I am a non-eea direct family member, I came to the UK when I was 17yrs old in 2003 (with a UK visit visa) and lived in the same house with my Step-dad (sponsor) and Mum until 2011, fully dependent on them. To be honest, I didn't know how to sort out my immigration issues at all for a long time until...
