Income

It is my understanding that if you are not attempting to claim points for a given category, you don't need to provide evidence to that effect. So, if you can reach 65+ pts w/o including your income...you won't need to supply proof of it until you get the HSMP status and go for entry clearance. At th...

Add me to the list!!!!

Hi Mike... You can add me to the "completed" list. I received my approval letter today, May 24. The approval date is May 18. Just under 3 months from my Feb 20 application date. Thanks for updating the grid and helping us all hold on to our sanity during the seemingly endless wait! Best wishes to you!

Application?

My personal belief is that if you are careful, you don't need the services of an agency. From what I understand, using an agency does not benefit you in the eyes of the Home Office. I suggest that you read carefully all of the advice and carefully craft your application. Mine (single applicant over ...

Approval

Applications are now taking at least 12 weeks to approve. I would count on 16 wks (and if you hear before, great). When I applied the Home Office said 4-6 wks and I expect to hear around the 12 week mark (based on others' application/approval cycles).

thanks

Thanks for adding me to the spreadsheet, Mike. Just a minor detail... my name is spelled incorrectly. If you want to correct it...it should read: Melyni (not Melnyi). If it's a hassle, pls don't worry about it. Thanks again.

Another ref number to add to the lot

This is a fantastic spreadsheet. Thanks so much for channeling your waiting frustrations in a positive way! I applied on 20 February. My reference number is 013490. I am still in the waiting mode. As for other info...I am a US applicant. Since my info falls in betweem some of the others, I thought y...

reference number

Congratulations on completing your application/submission. Hopefully, I can answer your question... The Home Office does not provide you with the reference number. To obtain it, you need to call them/email them. However, because they are under such demand to review the applications, they request tha...

I echo Dino's plea. Learing of other's successes and struggles can only benefit those preparing their applications (I know it helped me immensely) as well as those of us in the waiting game. You know...it gives hope. So, please...continue posting regarding your results, experiences getting the entry...

Noddy - I had the same questions. Here's what I did (mind you I have not heard back from Doncaster yet). 8. I provided a letter indicating that I was educated in the US public school system where classes are delivered in English. I also continued my education in the US private university system (com...

Thanks Dip. This waiting game is nutty. It's amazing how your mind can obsess over the tiniest details when you've got nothing to do (for this) but wait. Thanks for indulging my silly little question.

What do the Home Office results look like?

Meaning...is a rejection a skinny little letter and an acceptance a big fat letter (like college application results in the States)? Or, is it the same communication..a letter attached to your originals? Just trying to prepare myself for what will be coming in the post (in 2-6 wks). Thanks.
