Re: ILR LR - UK Immigration/EEA Combination

Please phone HMRC on telephone number 0300 200 3300 and they will ask for your NI number and other verification things and then you can request your five years history of UK taxation.

Congrats to KHI29

Re: ILR Earnings/Age ...Expert advice needed plzz

You do not need to worry about income. You are ok with that. One thing UKBA might be interested to know that you have paid the taxes on your previous extension income as well as that you have been paying taxes in all previous years (not necessarily the required level of income). I needed an income o...

Re: ILR Earnings/Age ...Expert advice needed plzz

You will get points for your age again - as you were under 28 at the outset (when you applied for Tier 1). 3. No you do not need to take fresh IELTS - the one you had earlier is enough...

Re: Tier 1 Earnings Query - Limited company

One needs to know that dividend is part of your personal income only when it is received. So you can make part of your personal income for your application.

Re: Tier 1 Earnings Query - Limited company

I think you are fine with the dividend as people can take interim dividend during the year in expectation of profit being made by the company. You have taken a final dividend (full and final). UKBA should not have any objection on that.

Re: Earnings/Net Profit in Ltd Company - Accountant Letter?

Well then you can claim dividends + retained profit as your previous earnings points! But better engage an accountant - not all of them greedy and expensive. I paid to mine £300.00

One more thing to note that you have not retained the profit in your company and you have taken dividends.

You can submit your own documents which UKBA CW would like to cross check with the HMRC!

"for example a tax return which can be for either self-assessment, or corporation tax1,"

Well if you have submitted your corporation tax return and you have an acknowledgement from HMRC in the form of bill, then I think you wont need an accountant's verification.

Re: Earnings/Net Profit in Ltd Company - Accountant Letter?

So basically the thing you are calling "my accounts" are your companies accounts. Well for the Companies House and HMRC, the small companies do not need to get an accountant report and just the signed copies by the director are acceptable. But for UKBA you do need to get an accountant report on your...

This may not be written anywhere but it is required to prove that earnings are the result of your economic activities in the UK.
