I suppose it is the same with ILR, one fee for the whole family ...?? If he is the main applicant, can't he just include his wife and daughter on the application for Citizenship...or they all have to apply seperately and pay the same fee ...3 times....??... that will be UNFAIR on the path of HO and ...

Basically it all depends on your circumstances: As a rule....Life in the UK test, employers letter, proof of address, all original copy of work permit , 3 month payslip and bank statement. My absences were normal...haven't travel outside the UK for more than 2month at any time...and I have carefully...

If I were you, I will apply and get ILR first, then register the child as a British citizen, then get the wife to apply from outside the UK and then enter on a spouse visa.

I think the HO has now got a good grasp of the processing. It is now faster to post than to go there in person and cheaper too!! By the way, I need help on registering my child as a British Citizen and local Post office don't seem to have the form or any guidance... Please help if you know how to go...

I know someone who is currently going through the appeal process.
She won the initial appeal and the Home Office succesfully appeal the decision....
She is currently awaiting the re-trial date.

What happen next if she loose the case this time around....and can they appeal if she wins again....

For someone who swithched from student to HSMP........

Is this the first date of entering the UK as a student?
Or the date of starting on HSMP or WP for example..?

What if you are not able to because your contract is ending or you are starting your own business afterward (for example) ...and you have every other thing...

Any experience of this?... what did the law says....

At what point will the Work permit become invalid. When your HSMP is approved or when you apply for Leave to remain using the approved HSMP?...... any thoughts on this one...
