If I were you, I will apply and get ILR first, then register the child as a British citizen, then get the wife to apply from outside the UK and then enter on a spouse visa.

I think the HO has now got a good grasp of the processing. It is now faster to post than to go there in person and cheaper too!! She won the initial appeal and the Home Office succesfully appeal the decision....
She is currently awaiting the re-trial date.

Second, document every information you send to the Home Office (Recorded delivery and personal copies) especially if she is still living with you.

Instead of "moaning" here. ...why can't we have suggestions about what can be done in real terms to fight back.
