schengen visa is not for whole schengen area if its a single entery one. It's only for one country which issues it. please note that sometime checkin agents look in your visa if you are opt of the schengen/eu country. its non of their business but they are more strict now. so they might find that you have only single entry visa. other thing which happend to me flight from amsterdam to budapest when i was coming t...

Guys I wonder if anyone knows about the residence permit in schengen area.

Could it be possible to have it if you are a british national and your spouse is a member of schengen area like in my case hungary and you can apply for residence permit with self sufficient category?

yes they do reply some time it takes time depending upon how busy they are.

but i did'nt sent cover letter at first place you do not need to send the cover letter anytime you apply for the visa. but bcz here your visa is declined you should write something in a polite way to tell them what happened to you and why you wanted to go to france etc etc its a good impression on ...

Why be a prick? As soon as the officer begins asking you questions about your spouse, politely remind him/her your PR status. If he/she insists, you keep insisting too. They are genuiely not trained. Don't resort to arrogance no matter what!! Its rude and unnecessary. Btw, no need to fill a landing...
