Child born outside the UK and had Settled status

My friend got her Settled status in 05/2021. Her eldest son was born abroad 10 years ago and got his settled status in 08/2022. There's no connection with his father. Is he eligible to apply for BC now using MN form? My friend's youngest son was born in the UK 3 years ago and received his settled st...

Re: British passport supporting documents confusion

Thanks for your input! I have just googled the difference between expired and cancelled. Some of my old passports have holes made by embassy in order to void them I assume. I'll just send them all and let the passport office decide what they need.

Re: Disabled person and Carer's Allowance

The son is fully dependent on his parents and requires care all the time. Actually the dad is working as his support worker and employed by local authorities. They live together. Thanks for your reply and for the links Noajthan.

The son is 31 now. The accident was not job related.

Do you think the only way for them to apply as dad's family members who is exercising treaty rights?

Re: Tricky PR

Thanks Noajthan! Do you think it's going to be ok if my EU partner signs the application form now and leaves the country till August. And I will submit application myself in the beginning of July? My concern is that HO will be checking her entries and exits and it may cause problems if she is not in...

Re: Tricky PR

Thank you for prompt replies. When she returned to the UK for the 2nd time she continued working for the same agency, so I assume she did not have to register again as it was the same agency she worked for before. And a few months later when she got the contract and started working directly (not thr...

Was she actually on maternity leave, and continued to be officially employed by her old employer? Remember also that the 5 years typically started from the day she entered the UK, and not from when she started working. When was the child born, relative to the entry of the mother into the UK? Hi Dir...
