Applying for Tourist visa and join family together

My Filipino partner would like to apply for a tourist visa in the hope of coming here soon so as to meet my mother before she dies. Is it possible to apply for a tourist visa at the same time as applying for a join family visa? I feel confident she would be granted a tourist visa as her daughter is ...

Who can be a sponsor

My partner and the mother of our Irish citizen daughter will apply for a join family visa and I do not have the required income to be her sponsor. Would Immigration accept sponsorship from someone not related to her in any way? I have very wealthy friends who would be willing to sponsor her. Even if...

Re: How Irish Citizen can bring partner and Irish daughter to live in Ireland

We have decided to apply for a tourist visa for the mother of the Irish citizen to come here for 90 days. She might apply for work while here and the prospective employer might arrange for a visa and work permit. We are running out of options so are trying everything. I do not know if a tourist visa...

Re: How Irish Citizen can bring partner and Irish daughter to live in Ireland

I have re-read the earlier replies and we are now considering applying for a visa/work permit based on her qualifications and experience as a Carer. My daughter, of course, would just accompany her as an Irish Citizen.
Any comments or advice appreciated.
Thanks.

How Irish Citizen can bring partner and Irish daughter to live in Ireland

My Filipino partner of about 6 years lives in the Philippines with our Irish passport holding daughter. We cannot get married as I was divorced in Thailand and our divorce is not recognised in Irish law. I am 63 y.0. and in receipt of Social welfare and living in a council house. My partner is a qua...

Re: Visa for the mother of our Irish citizen child.

My partner and mother of our Irish citizen child will apply for a visa based on the nearly 2-year-old's need to be with her mother while living in Ireland. I would appreciate any advice on the type of visa my partner should apply for. Thank you

Re: Visa for the mother of our Irish citizen child.

Thank you Littler. I am aware of the fact that our being married won't mean she can get a visa to accompany me here as I am in receipt of state benefits and even if I did earn €40,000 per year I understand I need to show that I have been earning at least this amount for 3 or more years. I am hoping ...

The following excerpt from http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Family%20Reunification%20Policy%20Document.pdf/Files/Family%20Reunification%20Policy%20Document.pdf seems to clarify the situation somewhat. I would still be happy to hear of any other peoples experiences. Thanks. 19 Irish Citizen Children– A...

Non-EEA Mother of Irish citizen wishes to move to Ireland.

I am an Irish born citizen of Ireland. My partner is living in the Philippines with our 15-month-old daughter. We have applied for an Irish passport for our daughter and are confident it will eventually be issued. Covid is the reason given for delays. I am living on Social welfare and I know this ma...

Most helpful. Thank you.
What do you mean by'You do not need to register your child on the FBR'? I do not know what FBR stands for.
I will ask my partner to contact the Consul General in Manila.
Thanks again

Thank you for all the responses and apologies for not replying sooner. Filipino with Irish baby to join partner in Ireland

My partner and I have been together for 4 years. She is in the Philippines and I'm in Ireland. Because I am in receipt of Jobseekers allowance she would not be entitled to a visa based on marriage as it would be seen that I do not have funds to support her. We now have a baby who, I understand, is a...

Re: Visa for girlfiend / fiancee

New development in our quest to be together.
My GF is applying to work in Denmark. I am thinking this will somehow make life easier. It will certainly be easier for us to meet often.
If she is granted a visa to work in Denmark any ideas on how best to proceed.
