Travelling After Receiving Citizenship

I need help: if I have UK passport, can I still travel with my residence permit card (that is not expired) and my old passport outside of EU and coming back to UK? If I received UK passport is my residence card still official and legal to travel?
Thank you

referee for citizenship application?

Hi all,

My wife is having difficulty in finding a professional status referee she has known for three years for her application.

My son, 27, (by previous marriage) is a chartered Accountant, could he be considered as a suitable person?

regards,
roy.

Re: Speaking and Listening Test?

Thank you for reply,

My american passport is now 3 years expired, can i still send it for proof of my american citizenship?
I was resident there for 12 years.

I`m afraid the UKBA site is very vague on this.

thank-you,
Nataliia.

Re: Further guidance on new B1 English Requirement

Hello everyone! I need your help. I have now indefinite leave to remain visa and want to apply for UK citizenship in October 2014. I passed Life in the UK test in May 2013. Set (M) Section 8 - Home and Finances

Ran into difficulty in In Set (M) Section 8 - Home and Finances for my wifes ILR. I`m self-employed and this year income has dropped dramatically and is seasonal, however various savings are in six figures and house is bought outright. What sort of figure are they looking for in the `pay each month`...

Hi all, My wife is about to apply for ILR in the next few weeks. She done her biometrics two years ago and received the card then.
Does she have to do this again for ILR or will the one she received at the spouse visa stage be still valid?

Settlement for wife on spouse visa

Hello, My wife will soon be applying for ILR, she is not working. I am self-employed and my income last financial year falls well short of the £18,600 they now require. I do however have savings in excess of £100k. The downside of this is seemingly they dont accept savings when you are self-employed...
