Re: Naturalised but travelling on Indian Passport

Thanks Alladin. So, are you saying I shouldn't fill in the landing card but show my Indian passport on arrival in the UK and explain my naturalisation situation to the officer here? Or should I just proceed with a Landing card and Indian Passport and not mention the naturalisation at all? Thanks aga...

Re: Naturalised but travelling on Indian Passport

Thank you guys - much appreciated. Yes, my concern is how the UK will see this when I come back to the country and use the landing card etc like a normal Indian citizen? I've seen discussions where people have gone out of the country with an Indian passport and returned with a UK one through the UK/...

Naturalised but travelling on Indian Passport

Hi all, I had a look around your forum but didn't find one single answer to this question, hence a separate question. (Sorry if I missed it) I recently attended my naturalisation ceremony (10 days ago) but haven't applied for my UK passport yet. I have some work travel to the US and Mexico in the ne...

ILR 5 yr PBS Success

Hi all, Just a quick note to say that I had my PEO appointment (Croydon) a month ago - didn't get around to updating this on the site but I have now received my ILR. Some highlights: - I had about 220 days of absence over the last 5 years but only managed to get a letter from my current and one prev...

Re: FLR(m) or PBS Dependant

Thanks for your response. Her current leave is due to expire on the 11th of May, so before she completes 2 years in the UK with me. Ideally I would like her to apply for ILR in June (which is two years). She was all ready to apply using FLR(m). I was reading somewhere that if she applies through flr...

FLR(m) or PBS Dependant

Hi, I've had a look at the forum for a similar situation but haven't been able to find answers so I was wondering if you can help: I was recently granted ILR (Feb 2014) as I was on a Tier 1 visa for 5 years. My wife joined me in June 2012 but as she hasn't finished 2 years of living with me, cannot ...

Section 6 in Set O (URGENT)

Hi all, I have my appointment at the Croydon PEO on Monday, 10th Feb. I have all the documents I need but haven't been able to get letters from 2 of my previous employers about my leave (holiday and work related) over the course of my employment. It's under 180 days (in fact it's a total of 110 days...
