Submission of doc checklist

There is something that I cannot get off my head. When you submit your application, the system gives you a document checklist of with "tick to confirm that you are including this document" format. However, the TLScontact employee who uploaded my document did not upload this form. She gave me an inte...

I called Ukvi today and they updated me that decision is made.
Is made or has been made? When do they decide at the end?

Re: Has anyone received processed applications from VFS after services resumed following the coronavirus lockdown?

My application is only for my wife's visa (Dependant), so there is no question of Restricted or Unrestricted CoS for this application. As for my CoS, that was Unrestricted, back in December 2019. I haven't emailed UKVI yet. From responses here it seems the delay is uniform across applicants and not...

Re: UKVI process query

How many accounts do you have?

It seems the process would take at least 15 working days. People on other threads have posted their timelines and it seems everyone is waiting

Re: Adding new documents?

There is no mandatory requirement to submit a degree if you have provided other evidence to meet the English requirement. The paid email address is not for extra documents submission. If you have already attended biomterics, then you can't submit new evidence.if ukvi requires anything (a big IF), t...

Adding new documents?

I have a Tier 2 application in process, unrestricted Cos. I wonder whether it is a good idea to add one or two documents to my application using that paid email address. I have not submitted my doctorate degree, and now I am thinking that it might help. Also do you know whether there is an interview...

Need help on tier2 application concerns

I have already submitted my application from outside of UK, but still I have some concerns that I would be thankful if I know your opinions about So the story: I have an A rated sponsor -a top university- for a PhD required position. However, I submitted very bare minimum documents. I did not submit...

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

Did your employer suggested you an alternate for this?? . Mine has been applying for 3 months now and wont be willing to try the luck 4th time . No, they are in hurry, and they know that without increase the salary, there is no chance. I think they are not willing to increase it anyway. I trusted t...

Your assumptions are really reasonable. However after September the monthly allocation will be 1500. That means even 55K will be doomed.
you are true. The number of academic applicants would be reduced that time, but that doesn't help that much.

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

I personally find it quite a shock that instead of the cutoff going down it’s gone up. I can’t see any reason why it would be so high since this month had nearly 2k visas. Fewer certificates than 2000. The process is simple: 1) Since Jan, every month around 1700 new applicants with +50p have applie...

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

The cut off was always going to be 55 when we heard of more than one person at 55 points getting their’s exceptionally outside of the monthly quota. This has happened in previous months and means that not all of the 55 band were able to fit in the normal quota but there were less than 100 so they c...

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

That is sad the solicitors can be bit difficult sometimes. I have mine applied at 48K as a data scientist and my solicitor told me 10 mins ago the application is under review , They used the code 2425 . My job title is data scientist as well with 46k salary. So we are in the same boat. Shout loudly...

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

Have you heard yet on your 45pts application No because a law company is doing my RCoS application in behalf of me. What are the chances of 50k salary ( Non-SOL, Non-Phd ) getting in next few months.
Let's say there is no chance for below 50k for non-shortage. For 50k in a 2-3 consecutive applies, you would get it.

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

Yes, I understand. Backlog will obviously be in the 45 and below points only as they are the ones that are getting rejected again and again. But is it possible that every month more and more new applicants are coming at above 45? Because this situation seems absurd. It is also strange to me. So I e...

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

So the whole situation is simple: 1. There are more than 1600 new applicants with 50+ points, i.e. 50k salary or more OR shortage jobs 2. The 45p bracket, [45k,50k) salary, has ~700 applicants now in May. 3. Since there is no tie-breaking rule, even if after clearing +50p there are a couple of hundr...

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

Moreover, do not count on "backlog clearance". In January the 45+ backlog got cleared, but in February 1700+ applicants were in the 45+ again. Even if this month threshold is 45+p again, next month 1700+ NEW applicants with higher than 45p would apply , and again it would be same story. Can you ple...

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

"we have SOC i.e 130 and above at a monthly average of 750 (consistently) which leaves 550 for scores between 50 and 130. Traditionally 50-90 have been around 200-300 and 90-130 are around 100. So unless something is going terribly wrong, 45 should have a strong case. Keep positive. We haven't direc...

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

If it is true that the cut off is 55 - there must have been a huge amount of shortage and PhD roles because the backlog of 50s left after the high March cut off were cleared last month. Really hard to ever see it dropping at the moment if this is the case. Let’s hope for some kind of miracle that o...
