Re: Spouse Visa for My Russian Wife - Please Help

So, finally today, my wife got her passport back. Thanks only to the persistence of us and my MP. No need to ask who I'll be voting for in future. Vignette - 21st July to 20th August??!! Absolutely shocking, unbelieveable incompetence of the highest order  Fortunately though, thanks to my MP g...

I think you need to submit it all again as new with an updated Property Inspection Report. They will want to see evidence that nothing has changed. See

Here is a link to quite long document but you may find it very useful to study it carefully. The immigration rules as they apply to accessing Public Funds. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/518624/Public_funds_v13.0.pdf In there you will find that the HO can s...

Re: UK HOME OFFICE REQUEST FOR MORE INFO

They will write directly to your wife because it is her applicatiion! Unless they have misunderstood the application and got it completely back to front, I think it could possibly be to do with the fact that you claimed benefits during a period of the sponsorship and they are trying to ascertain if ...

Re: I want my Passports Back. What to do?

When I called them and asked the same question, they told me the only way to have the passport returned part way through processing is to withdraw the application and forfeit the fee.

If it is an emergency, it can be looked into, but I understand this to mean medical grounds.

As I said, it depends upon the explanation for the discrepancy. I can't advise how to get around the rules.

Re: Wages on patslip and bank statment

It would certainly look very odd but it would all depend on the explanation. Are you paid in cash? A payslip is a legal document and so is a bank statement. It would need an excellent reason from the company/sponsor why they differ if it's an electronic transfer and that's just for tax and NI reason...

His wife, from Kosovo, has a 9-year-old child from a previous marriage (divorced a number of years ago, the child is in the custody of the mother). The ex...

That's only for applications made from inside the UK.
We made our application from Russia - outside of UK. Worked for me and still works for me. Shows "Decided" 13th July.

Re: How long is NARIC certificate valid for meeting English

From what I can ascertain, the NARIC only expires if the institution or degree ceases to be on the approved list. The sections that I think apply here are 4.3 and 4.4 on p17 of the following https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/605687/Appendix_FM_Section_1.21.pdf...

Re: Received supportin documents back. What next?

Receiving your documents back unfortunately does not necessarily mean they have made a decision. However, it could mean that at least an ECO has looked at it and it's in the final stages. Where did you apply from? Was it a priority application? Check this website https://contact-ukvi.homeoffice.gov....
