Thank you very everyone for your responses.

As Noajthan has suggested, I think it would be a good idea to follow my heart and just do what feels right on the day :)

Re: NCS Brent - Combined application in Jan/Feb

NAK79 – OMG, it took you 4months!! When did you apply? Brent? Casa – Very difficult to deduce what could be causing this delay. I have heard/read of many cases (out of which few are colleagues’ friends) who had applied from various parts of UK in Jan/Feb under pilot/non-pilot scheme and are...

Re: Oath vs Affirmation

Thanks,

Yes, that would be interesting to know.

Any suggestions which would be better in the case a person has no preference. I have my ceremony soon and would just like to go with whichever way the greater majority of people take it, however have no idea which that is..

Oath vs Affirmation

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know if it's more common to take an oath or make an affirmation during the citizenship ceremony.

I know it's an individual choice and we can choose whichever we prefer but was just wondering if anyone knew which is the more common method preferred.

Thanks

Re: Applying Naturalization and Passport at same time

I think JCAP applications are taking longer than normal applications. One of my neigbour applied though NCS Brent on February 18, 2016, gave biometrics on March 9, 2016 and received the approval letter today. As compared to my application (3 applicants) applied on Feb 15, 2016 gave biometrics on Fe...

Re: Applying Naturalization and Passport at same time

Hello, Can anyone please advise how many days we have after the approval letter to book the ceremony. Does the approval letter date contain the date of the ceremony or do we have to book it ourselves. The reason I ask is because I am planning to be away for 2 weeks and concerned what would happen if...

Re: Is this document required

Yes I have a BRP card showing no time limit and a copy of that was sent along with my current passport. Do you that that would suffice? I was just concerned as I had read that the identity document which was used to take LIUK test and the passport showing original Indefinate leave should be attached...

Is this document required

Hi guys, When I submitted my documents through NCS Brent, the officer checking my documents told me she didn't require my previous passport and she didn't include a copy of it with my documents even though I had taken it with me. As far as I have read I think it's needed because it has my initial IL...
