shimu -Thanks. I had 283 days in total and 144 days of medical absence. Angela Jiang - Thanks again. The nearest PEO to me is Croydon but I sensed that it is a very busy PEO. I wanted a PEO where I would be heard properly. So I went to Solihull after reading reviews about it. And I was right - the l...

ILR Granted at Solihull PEO - Absence > 90 days

Hello everyone,‎ I had an absence of over 90 days in a single trip to my home country and my ‎ILR application was approved on the same day at Solihull. I was on WP and then Tier 1.‎ I got all information for my application from this forum so it’s only fair to share my experience and ‎help ...

Appointment Confirmation

Hi everyone,

I recently booked an appointment at Solihull PEO but did not receive any text or email. Once I finished the booking online using trasn/ref id, I was only asked to print out the confirmation page.

Is this enough?

Please advice...

Thanks

It might be a bit quicker than 2-3 months as your application has already been reveiwed once. All they would want to check now are your medical documents and how strong they are... Were you employed and paid in the UK at the time of medical leave? And what medical documents did you submit to support...

Since you have enough time for ILR, I would recommend that you chase this up with the rail prosecution office and sort it out. I am guessing you will have to pay a fine but you do not want anything pending on your file. I am no expert but I think this is not a criminal offence so no problem with ILR...

Visit the "Disclosure Scotland" website.

Apply for a Basic Disclosure online or through post.

It costs £25 and you will get the results in 2 weeks.

Hi unxepktylwvhl Firstly congrats on your ILR. I see that you had a more than 90 days absence in a single trip. I was wondering if this casued any problems for you when you applied at PEO? Mine is due to medical reasons which I will have no problems in proving as long as the caseworker is ready to l...

Sorry if I have missed it but nowhere does it say the caseworker cannot apply discretion at PEO? However it does say that complex cases cannot be dealt at a PEO but I have read cases here where people have got ILR stamped with more than 3 months absense in a single trip (business reason). The worst ...

Is this a Home Office rule that cases involving caseworker discretion cannot apply at PEO?

Thanks for your input

Are SEO's or Grade 7 available at PEOs if I apply in person?

To be on the safe side, apply for a Basic Disclosure.

If it says "NONE" then I dont think you need to disclose it.

KP - you mentioned in one of your posts that you had requested Disclosure Scotland for extra bits to be 100% sure that you did not have any unspent conviction. Please could you let me know exactly what you requested?

Visit the "Disclosure Scotland" website and apply for Basic Disclosure (this is the only disclosure possible for individuals).

You will need to provide them with all your details including addresses for the last 5 years and utility bills etc...

It costs £25

Hi KP - what extra legal certificate did you request from Disclosure Scotland. I received my CRB certificate yesterday which is blank so do I need to request something else from them.

I want to have the maximum number of proofs that I have no unspent convictions.

Many thanks

CRB Check for ILR

How confident can one be if the disclosure is blank? Can someone challenge the Home Office based on the certificate received fro...
