New passport after successful application

My passport is close to expiring and I would like to renew it before traveling to the UK. I know it’s normally not a problem to travel with a visa on an old passport. However, will I have any issues traveling for the first time with my 90 day vignette in an old passport and later collecting my BRP a...

"Removed from another country?"

I made an error on my last application for entry clearance while answering whether or not I have ever been removed from another country. I answered no--my 10 year visitor application was approved. However, now, three years from the date of issue of the entry clearance I have realized that I was in f...

Re: Business activities on a "general vistor" visa

I found it People who hold a valid visit visa that was issued prior to 24 April 2015, which is when the changes were introduced, will be able to use this to enter the UK provided they are still a genuine visitor. They will be able to use this visa to carry out the additional permitted activities. Fo...

Re: Business activities on a "general vistor" visa

You are right about professional sports--one would require a different visa. In any case, is I should probably email the embassy before travelling.

Business activities on a "general vistor" visa

I realize that the rules have changed to include a "standard visitor visa" where I would be able to do all activities on one visa. But my visa was issued in 2013. Am I allowed to do business activities or engage in professional sports?

I believe that the nature of the error constitutes negligence/misconduct. It is not that they are doing me a favour by processing my application. I have paid a good amount of money and basic errors like the one in my application do not meet the standards one may expect from a service like this. I'm ...

Re: I was misquoted on UK visa application

I was refused a UK visa (general visitor) after travelling to the UK with my Pakistani passport 8 times in the last 10 years. In his/her decision reasoning, the ECO said I stated in my application that I would be travelling alone and I had not mentioned the wherabouts of my wife. Actually I had ans...
