Re: ECS check is taking weeks & I might lose new job as result

I have been waiting for mine for a few weeks now. Did you get any response? I did give my employer my UAN number and my application form number. I wonder what the hold up is, I am unable to work while I wait. I wrote to my MP a week ago and I am hoping I get a reply.

Has someone heard anything?

Re: Extending leave outside of rules

Hi, I was also given leave to remain under the same rule. I had my first application to extend my visa using the FLR (FP) 2.5yrs ago.........but it took ages to get a reply. I wasn't sure if that was the correct form but they just granted me my visa anyway. I am wondering which form to fill out now ...

Re: South African Passport Renewal by Post in the UK

Is there a reason why you cannot go to the embassy for an appointment? I found it easy and quicker to just go there. Did everything in one go and they sent my passport very quickly. The post office route was just long.

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

my application (extension) was straightforward, same day appointment service (submissions, interview & biometrics) in Croydon.... That was in May! Still no decision. What do I do?

Re: BRP extension - No sponsorship

Hi guys, I am a little worried now. I still haven't received a decision or my passport back. I tried to call the centre but they always put me through to someone who doesn't have the answers... What do you suggest I do? My job is asking for an uodate. I don't see a reason why they haven't written ba...

Re: BRP extension - No sponsorship

Update: I had a 14:30 appointment at the Croydon centre and only left around 16:30pm yesterday. The process is pretty straightforward. Bring all the documents in your specific checklist provided at the end of your application. It is available to download. They check them. Send you for your biometric...

Re: BRP extension - No sponsorship

As much as this board is helpful, I find some folks abrasive & impatient with others. If you are frustrated by dumb questions or looking for answers in other topics just click out. I posted in the “6 months payslips” thread because the topic was also relevant to me. I just wanted to know if I was ok...

Re: 6 months payslips

I am not applying for spouse. I am extending my current BRP under the FLR private life (10 yr route). When I won my case my visa was no longer attached to a job. I am not sponsored. I’m gonna have to ask the agency to write a letter then? F**k!

Re: 6 months payslips

Hhhmmm! As I understand it, these are not on my mandatory list but as extras. I was told payslips, bank statements and my p60 will suffice? Now I’m worried. I only have 2 documents to submit understand the mandatory list and that’s my passport and BRP card.

I see. My work has provided that as proof of employment. I will try my best to get last week’s payslip as I get paid weekly. My interview is this coming Thursday.

Re: 6 months payslips

To confirm previous advices, the key is to cover 6 months . Whether the 6 month period is covered by 6 or 26 payslip doesn’t matter. If you started your role on 03/12/18 then 6 months will be complete on 03/06/19. Therefore you need to wait for the pay/payslip around 21/06/19. What if your work als...

Re: BRP extension - No sponsorship

Oh no! I followed the link you posted with the application form. It is saved until I can pay for the IHS. Am I supposed to be using that site? You should or might get an option for which service you want to choose to use. To book a UKCVAS appointment, it is at the end of the application process as ...

Re: BRP extension - No sponsorship

Aaaah! Ok! I will sure look out for that. I am stuck at the IHS bit where I just need to pay and continue. Will probably do that tomorrow once I’ve had emails back confirming arrivals of documents via post. PS! Anyone doing any online applications, use any web browser other than safari. They’ve also...

Re: BRP extension - No sponsorship

WOW!!! Fair enough. Very expensive but I guess it’s needed. I am just waiting for a letter of employment and my council tax statement then my application is ready! I understand I only have 10 days to send all my documents in after I submit my application, therefore I don’t want to risk it! Fingers c...

Re: BRP extension - No sponsorship

I do not necessarily believe that I am exempt or entitled. I work for the NHS and I assumed that when I had applied before, it was one of the benefits I had. And therefore I dodn't need to pay it. I am employed by NHS Trusts. In old golden days, paying IHS wasn't part of any immigration related app...

Re: BRP extension - No sponsorship

Just a silly question. Since I've been in the UK for 15yrs, I have recieved NHS treatment and have never had to pay the IHS since all my other applications. The online form needs a reference number and I don't have it. Do I just pay the £1000 just to get a reference number? And can I get it refunded...

Re: Applying ILR Online before the 28 days

Hey folks, I just wanted to know. When counting the 28 days, are weekends and holidays counted together with the working days? Seeing as there's a strict rule, I just need to make sure. I am just about 28 days tomorrow. Thanks.

Re: BRP extension - No sponsorship

Hi CR001, thanks for the reply. I initially completed the FLR(FP) I think. My solicitors did it for me it was so long ago. After 3 court visits, I just ended up getting a letter from the judge and then my BRP followed. The HO did not issue any letter. They just sent all my stuff back with the BRP ca...
