Re: No work except work placement

So as per paragraph ST 26.1 the "work placement only" work condition is correct. It is the other student who has incorrect conditions. If he does not request a correction now, the college will notice it when he enrols and help him get it corrected. You mean his friend who got 10 hours work allowed,...

Re: No work except work placement

A student's work conditions depend on the level of the course they are doing and on the type of sponsor. The maximum working hours during term time can be 20, 10 or zero. No-one gets 15. Everyone can do assessed work placements. See Appendix Student, paragraph ST 26.1: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/i...

Re: How to Expedite visit visa application

If any indication was given that she is coming to the UK to help and effectively 'work' in helping you, she risks a visa refusal. Any form of work or help (paid or unpaid for family or non family) is strictly not permitted on a visitor visa. So against the blowing wind my sister got her visit visa,...

Re: How to Expedite visit visa application

How long exactly did she state she was going to visit the UK? Stating a 'month or two' is vague. It is important to state exactly what she said in the form was her purpose of the visit? If any indication was given that she is coming to the UK to help and effectively 'work' in helping you, she risks...

Re: How to Expedite visit visa application

There is no way to expedite an application. There are delays for visitor visa applications and all she can do is wait. Presumably she provided evidence of strong ties to her home country? What purpose did she state her visit was for in the form and how long is she visiting?? Yes indeed, she has pro...
