Dont worry about it, HSBC does not provide anything in writing that you hold sufficient funds in your account. It prints and provides the statement without stamping. That is their standard procedure. Thatz true , timelines are 5-6 working days these days at chennai VFS .....

mine took just 7 days to get processed and delivered at my place .

Applied on 16th jul 09... and gt back passport on 25th jul 2009 at my home.
