Re: New comoany do i need a new COS application

They do need a brand new cos. It seems their knowledge around this area is inadequate - it might be best to suggest to your new employer to get an immigration lawyer/advisor involved to help them and you as well

Has an application ever been forgetton?

I have been waiting for 11 working days for my priority visa application which in theory should only take 5 days. I have also heard nothing at all from UKVI/Home Office. Upon ringing UKVI a couple of times, they could not tell me what is causing the delay either. I understand from reading other post...

I am experiencing similar delays - been 11 working days after biometrics on a priority application - anyone here knows a good way to expediate this?

Many thanks.

Re: A decision made but no news from TLS contact

Has anyone had a similar experience? I am still waiting after 10 working days - have already rung UKVI helpline for the past 4 working days and been told the same thing (i.e. a decision has been made on 25 Oct and you need to wait for TLSContact to contact you) - I have visited TLSContact Dublin cen...

A decision made but no news from TLS contact

I enrolled my biometrics on 22 Oct on a priority application in Dublin UK visa centre. After more than 5 working days, I phoned UKVI yesterday and was told a decision has already been made and the passport is on its way back to TLS however I still have not heard anything from TLS. TLS does not have ...

July RCoS

With the July RCoS submission deadline today, any analysis on what the potential cutoff might be? My personal view is that doctors and nurses consume about 1/3 of the spaces every month which is equivalent of the number of applicants for 2 buckets roughly so would hopefully to see points drop to at ...

Re: Self-employed while on Tier 2

Thanks everybody. To clarify: I was not paid for these jobs through PAYE, which is why I had to declare the income myself and pay the tax as self-employed. In my HMRC self-assessment I put "consultancy/translation" only, no further details. I can modify my tax return to clarify this but I fear that...

Re: Self-employed while on Tier 2

I would honestly suggest you to speak to a good immigration lawyer about this as non-disclosing of material facts could be worse than breaching the conditions. If you have paid taxes, it is probably recommended to declare this yourself for your ILR application rather than waiting to be caught

I'm also in the disappointing position of having 50 points and having just been refused for this month. I have a few questions - 1. Does anyone know what the minimum points were this month? Was it 51 or 56? 2. How does one get the "extra" points that aren't multiples of 5? E.g. if the points are ba...
