I got my stamp 4 letter last week and received it after 13 months. Another person I have been speaking with on here received their letter the same time as me and was waiting 10 months.
We had an appointment booked in advance since we figured we would have the letter by now.
We had no issue at all. We brought our passports, marriage certificate and our letter. Left with the stamp 4 in his passport after a little over 2 hours of waiting. They post the card in the mail now.
You will get a stamp 4 which means you can live and work in Ireland. Since you have the visa D all you need to do is book your appointment at GNIB and bring the required documentation as stated on the INIS website. It said on our application that they were also finalising our application so I think it should be pretty soon. I’ll drop a post here when I get the letter. Could you please do the same?

Given that we have to submit our original passports I’d imagine we will only have to wait a few weeks for a reply.

Yeah I’ve heard something similar - I don’t think a solicitor has the power to make the process go by any faster. I’m nearly waiting 11 months so hopefully we get a letter any day now....
