Re: ETATS Schengen Visa Granted

You can stay 30 days within the validity of your visa. For example, you can go 3 times to Schengen countries and stay 10 days each time. The total of days you stay cannot be more than 30 (in total by adding all trips). You can come back to the UK, then return to Schengen as many time as you wish pro...

Re: Changing place of birth on Naturalisation Certificate

Hello

Many asylum seekers I spoke with change parts of their stories for whatever reasons. That includes the country of origin.

There is a saying in Arabic: leave the well with its cover.

I wouldn't go now opening a can of worms about that.

Re: Sponsorship License Suspended-ILR Application Pending

What do you mean by that? Currently our ILR application is pending. I understand you already applied for the ILR. Is that correct? Then why do you want to apply for something else? Wait for the outcome of your ILR. You don't care about what happens to your employer. Your Tier-2 was valid when you ap...

Re: Travel During Naturalisation application

Hello Absolutely. You can travel during the naturalisation application. Even when you are approved, you can still travel with your ILR as long as you haven't signed your certificate yet (during the ceremony). Once you get your certificate, that's it. You must return the ILR within 5 days. You can't ...

Re: Have not declared police caution

Hello, A police caution from 9 years ago, should not, in itself, cause a refusal of a British Citizenship application. The problem is: you didn't declare it. The Home Office will see it as they have access to all these records and usually check them when considering your application. What would make...

You are speculating in the void. E1 or E2 visas are not easy to obtain to start with.

Both require a lot of money. We are talking about a 6 digit sum to invest or to trade. You are not going to do that just for you to try to find an employer in the US.

Re: Schengen visa change of itinerary

Once they issue the visa, they don't care when you exactly go.

As long as the visa is valid, you can go back and forth any dates within its validity period. You don't need to tell them or get the visa changed.

Re: Have made application for British Citizenship - okay to renew passport?

Hello

For now, she is a Pakistani national and should continue acting as such. There is no reason why she shouldn't renew her passport.

The mere submission of a naturalisation citizenship doesn't change anything at this stage.

Re: Looking to Migrate from UK to US, what are my options apart of H1B?

I have seen 2 guys getting a H1B visa in the last few years but both worked for a UK branch of a US company then developed relationship with the US management and got sponsored.

I am not sure what are the odds of getting a H1B just by applying from the UK to a random US company.

US Diversity Lottery.

Not being funny but I know at least 3 guys who won that lottery and left for the US in the last 10 years.

Re: Child maintenance

Hello, Not paying child maintenance is one of the reasons that can send a parent to prison including in the UK. He needs to sort this out. Just stopping the payments is not an option. As for your application, the Home Office is not going to check your accounts to see what you should have paid and yo...

Hello, The notarized affidavit usually means that the documents have been authenticated and countersigned/stamped by a higher authority in their country of issuance. Usually this involves going to a registered notary office (some work with Embassies and are recognised by them), or a court of justice...

When it comes to seeking discretion , nobody can tell you for sure if it will be granted or not. By definition, you are within an area where your application doesn't tick all the boxes and you are asking them to make exceptions for you. Are you married to a British citizen? In such case, the qualify...

No, you don't inform the Home Office about this. Your application has been already submitted. You are not supposed to keep updating the HO as things happen in your life.

Re: Applying for Schengen visa for family while naturalisation is in progress

If you don't need a visa, don't apply for it. Simple. You don't need to send them a letter explaining why you don't apply. Otherwise, all British citizens would have to send letters to Consulates to explain they don't need a visa every time they travel :) I am EU and my wife is not. When she applies...

Re: HMRC penality after submission

I don't think it's an issue.

It's just a late filling and they issue an automatic fine for that. It was about £150 last time I check. I am not sure it's still the case.

Indeed, you don't need to contact the Home Office and tell them.

Re: Inviting parent on graduation ceremony

It's ultimately about them. So you need to show their own financial situation. If that uncle is paying, he also needs to show that he has income. But their own situation matters most because they are applying for a visa not your uncle. For the name, it is what it is. There is no way to change it. Ju...

Re: Father's Name issue

Write his name as in the passport when you apply for the visa.

If the bank or other institutions put a title in front of his name, that shouldn't affect his application.

Hello The only "trick" I can give you is: document as much as possible their connections to their home country. I don't why, it seems a classic question they ask at the border. And sometimes: are you still with your husband/sponsor? These questions make no s...

Ignore that one please. It's not relevant for immigration purposes.

It's given to all households connected to a supplier in the UK.
