Re: Right to work check changes from ILR to expired or lost/stolen BRP

Just an update: I finally received the official approval email, dated from Monday, and a new BRP is on the way. So it was correct that the right to work check was updated to reflect that the current BRP is deemed expired.

Thanks everyone!

Re: Right to work check changes from ILR to expired or lost/stolen BRP

As long your BRP is still valid, you should be able to check. However, the RTW website has glitches so it can not be relied upon as it does not work accurately always. If your application is approved, you should get a BRP delivered within few days. You can call the courier and check if they have re...

When does your current BRP expire? It may be that the identifying BRP which is your current one i.e. the one you are using to check your status has expired. Hope you get your ILR approved BRP soon.
My current BRP doesn't expire until Sep next year.

Right to work check changes from ILR to expired or lost/stolen BRP

Hi all, I applied for ILR Set O, and on Monday the right to work check shows that "there is no limit on how long you can stay in the UK", which I take as the ILR application having been approved. My solicitor received some blank email from Home Office (only with an attachment with my name and says "...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Somebody reported contacting their MP within like 6-7 weeks of their application and getting a response after the MP escalated. This seems odd because I was hearing (not sure where) that UKVI were not taking escalations any more and escalating within 6 months is anyways unlikely to yield anything. ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi everyone, When did UKVCAS stop accepting IDV submissions again? I know that there's no IDV now but wanted to know when that stopped. It was in mid September. Thanks CR001. Hmm interesting. I see in the timeline thread that there are a few IDV submissions on Sep 23/24. These must be the last ones...

Re: Does immigration history in other countries have any bearing on ILR decision?

No issue provided you disclose all applications truthfully. Thanks sealgul for your perspective. I did disclose it in the cover letter. My solicitor actually said there was no need to disclose anything more than what the form asked, because it doesn't add anything to the application. But I insisted...

Does immigration history in other countries have any bearing on ILR decision?

Hi everyone, I am waiting for my ILR (Set O) decision (Oct 4 submission, Oct 21 biometrics). It's taking a bit longer than I expected, after reading previous timelines on the forum. Meanwhile, I am wondering if immigration history in other countries play any role in ILR decisions? Reading the requir...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi everyone! I applied for ILR Set O (T2G) on Oct 4, biometrics appointment on Oct 21, and still haven't received a decision... I'm quite anxious, seeing that many fellow members here with similar timeline have received their decisions. Today my solicitor received the following communication from th...
