Re: oci waiting time

Just to add that I posted an application by next day special delivery for OCI status on 23/04/2008 and today they acknowledged it on the OCI site i.e 15/05/2008. 3 weeks to acknowledge a letter. I wonder whether it has anything to do with me not clearly mentioning it on top of the envelope ? Letter...

OCI fee

It sounds silly but HCI London website is not stating clearly. I am applying for OCI for myself, wife and 2 kids. The website say the fee will be 165 pounds for each applications (not applicants). Since we are all applying together do I have to pay 165 or should we pay 165 each? If anyone applied OC...

OCI is faster than PIO card! They take 4 months to process PIO card now a days. (I remember they did it in 5 days for my first kid but took 4 months for second one) HCI london web site says you will get OCI in 12 weeks. If you want to travel in 3/4 weeks time then you better apply for visa through 3...

Even I don't have any offences in the past. Very clean record but I applied for the nationality 2 years after the eligibility. I was on and off in the UK 7 years before so I think there are more records they have to search. For straight forward cases (5+1 years) it is much easier for them to complet...

Have you registered your first son as a British citizen (if he was born in the UK), now that you have ILR?
