Naturalisation data I have found a while ago on gov.uk is not analysed by visa route. There's actually just one application form for AN.

Re: Main Reason when visiting UK

When visiting the UK to attend a trade fair or exhibition, what is the most appropriate reason, as categorized by the UK government because no reason is appearing to attend trade fair, expo or conference etc? A review of the visitor visa rules on gov.uk would have given you this: https://www.gov.uk...

Re: Please advise - will be extremely thankful

In terms on the naturalisation application I can't see this has any relevance. If there's a dispute that's a civil matter. If all the details you have entered in the application are true and correct to the best of your knowledge then what's the problem? How would you explain this to a caseworker? Ma...

Re: Naturalization process for ILR holder (via Tier 2 Dependent VISA)

Hi all, My Mrs. has had ILR since March 2023. We want to apply for her naturalization (a British passport). Could you please point me in the right direction to access the correct "form" for the naturalization application? Thanks in advance. Regards, M. There's only one form "AN" - online link: http...

Re: Is a child of a British (by naturalization) citizen a British citizen?

A British citizen cannot apply for a visa to enter the Uk. Solicitor should know this!
Note that passport applications are not immigration applications. HMPO have their own separate requirements.

Re: UKVI survey Email before decision email

Haven't seen reports of these emails for quite some time! It probably means they sent these emails in error - logically these should be sent after the approval has been issued. Some members speculated at the time that the approval should be received soon after the survey email but can't comment on t...

Re: Can British citizenship application be made only for child and parents remain on ILR?

This type of application "at the discretion of the Home Secretary" is being done for children every day by ILR holders. You clearly hold ILR, the child holds ILR, and generally comply with the requirements. There's nothing extra you have to prove. The term "at the discretion" captures all manner of ...

Re: Utility bills, tenancy agreements and council tax bills will NOT be accepted as proof of residency

Might be good idea for UKVI to update their guidance with what is not acceptable.
Council Tax to my mind is a local tax bill raised by local government, rather than a household bill like gas or phone.
I still see people saying they used council tax bills without issues.

If one or both parents have ILR child can register as British.
It doesn't matter that parents are not applying.

Correct - passport only.
If you renewed your passport during the period you scan the old one and the new one. It's not a requirement to have just one passport as proof.
And yes, B1 English is fine.

Re: citizenship queries - residency

As a UK ILR holder your passpor(s) with stamps covering the residency period are sufficient.
P60, Council Tax bills, etc not required - those are used by EU citizens whose passports didn't get stamped.

I'm an EU citizen. Unfortunately, I only have three P60's. Do you think that'll be a problem? You are asked to prove residency by way of official type documents .... Have you got council tax bills for the missing years? Those will be also be ok. There are also suggestions that the employment record...

Re: Document evidence for 5 years residency

Are you an EU citizen or EU family member? Then council tax bills or P60 are fine, one for each year (only one type is needed) - monthly payslips are not required. You don't need to send tons of documents. If you hold UK ILR then generally your passport with stamps covering the residency period is s...
