I am applying from within UK and using my UK bank account + FD from India as proof of Maint funds (I need to show 2399GBP). For the FD, I am getting a letter from the branch manager of the bank which holds the FD. Do I need the FD themselves as proof in addition?

I am applying for Tier 1 within UK but falling short of maint funds for the dependents who are also in the UK. Can I show amounts in India banks as proof of adequate maintenance funds?
