Re: Adoption

Maybe, I have used an incorrect word as "adoption" since I don't know. The situation is: My sister is a single mum and she doesn't get any support or benefits from her ex-husband and she can't able to provide a good life or eduction to her son. From my side, I am single and looking to adopt a child ...

Quick question:

Did you actually physically submit your passport, or did you walk away with your passport (my ILR is in my old South African passport.... need it for travelling in August)

Thanks in advance!
I haven't physically submitted my passport or any other original documents.

The whole process took only 1 hour and it is very straight forward. 1. Inform your appointment at the reception upon arrival. 2. Collect your tic...

Re: British citizenship (naturalization) and a British passport

I am going to apply for British citizenship next month, I searched for the list of documents in this group but can't able to find one.

Thank you for your reply. Much appreciated.
When you say "Fine, provided your were physically present in the UK on the same date 5 years ago".

Re: ILR application questions

I am trying to book an appointment now for 16th or 17th May at Croydon but no slots are available. Do you think the slot will open before the end of the day since the fee is going to increase tomorrow?
